一个演绎俄罗斯中提琴作品的专辑通常会包括格林卡和肖斯塔科维奇的奏鸣曲，但埃利莎·纳尔逊（Eliesha Nelson）对俄罗斯音乐的一个领域进行了全新的、备受欢迎的探索。而这个领域仍然没有得到充分的记录——那就是白银时代（Silver Age）。这三位作曲家其中两位对我们大多数人来说几乎是陌生的——都活跃在20世纪之交，仍然坚持传统的调式调性，而且从纳尔逊的这个版本来看，演绎出了相当有趣的音乐。
