《a小调小提琴协奏曲》构思精妙,虽然每个乐章都很娇小,但是每个乐章都并非雷同,都有自己独创的东西,充分体现出维瓦尔第的音乐天赋,从中我们可以听到鲜活的旋律、热情的节奏、华丽的音色以及令人感到意外的音乐主题和对比变化,这首协奏曲充分体现出了巴洛克音乐的特色。维瓦尔第为许多乐器都写过协奏曲和奏鸣曲,据资料显示,前者是五百多首,后者是七十多首,从小提琴、大提琴、长笛、双簧管、大管等现代人所熟悉的乐器,到抒情维奥尔琴、竖笛、沙吕莫管、木管号、曼陀林、琉特琴等现在已经很少被用于乐队中的古代乐器。
