Makoto Shinkai\’s blockbuster hit \”Kimi no na wa. has landed in North America! The film will open in theaters in the U.S. and Canada on Friday, April 7 (local time). The film will be released on more than 200 screens. In addition, some theaters will show the film with the theme song sung in English by RADWIMPS! The English theme songs include \”Zenzenzense (English ver.)\” and four other songs. The movie \”Kimi no na wa. is a film that closely links the love story between the hero, Taki, and the heroine, Mitsuba, and the theme song performed by RADWIMPS. The song is based on the original Japanese lyrics, and vocalist Yojiro Noda has written new English lyrics to match the melody of the original song.
