专辑简介
Toronto-born artist RealestK returns with his new album Forgive To Forget, a 12-track exploration of growth, grief and emotional clarity. Released via Standard Projects and ADA, the record leans into alt-R&B’s more introspective edges, blending atmosphere and vulnerability into a cohesive, slow-burning body of work.
Across the album, RealestK builds a fluid sonic world where mood and feeling take precedence over rigid genre lines. Themes of loss, healing and self-reflection run throughout, with tracks like ‘Lifeline’ and ‘Angels’ – produced by Danny Boy – showcasing his signature falsetto against sweeping, cinematic production. Elsewhere, songs such as ‘TOW’ and ‘My Way’ balance stripped-back instrumentation with emotional weight.
“It captures the process of letting go to grow, navigating grief and pain before reaching realization, acceptance, and ultimately, lessons learned from loss,” explains the artist. “The last 3 years changed me. The pain, the growth, the silence, it all lives in this project.”
The project marks a continued evolution for an artist who first broke through with viral success, steadily refining a sound rooted in honesty and melodic restraint. His ability to translate personal experience into universally resonant music remains central, giving the album a sense of cohesion and purpose.
With Forgive To Forget, RealestK deepens his place within contemporary RnB: not by chasing scale, but by leaning further into vulnerability. The result is a record that feels immersive and reflective, capturing an artist moving through change while bringing listeners with him.
