Gavin Di Different, a multifaceted music producer, songwriter, director, and recording artist, has made a remarkable entry into the music industry with his innovative record label, WILDMOB RECORDS. Founded in 2023, WILDMOB RECORDS embodies Gavin’s passion for the natural world, a passion that was nurtured during his childhood in the hills of Maroon Town, Jamaica. This environment has significantly influenced Gavin’s musical style and artistic vision, helping him carve out a unique niche in the competitive music landscape.

Gavin’s formal journey into music began in the United States, where he pursued an Associate of Science in Music at SUNY Ulster in the Hudson Valley of New York, graduating in 2019. However, beyond his academic credentials, Gavin’s real prowess lies in his hands-on experience and self-taught skills. Starting in 2017, he began recording and producing his own music from his home studio, a venture that quickly garnered attention and respect within the industry.

Over the years, Gavin has collaborated with several high-profile artists, including Grammy-nominated Afroman, Sean Kingston, and the legendary Snoop Dogg. His latest album, “The First Taikun,” represents a pinnacle in his career, featuring a posthumous appearance by the iconic rapper DMX on the opening track “GLORY.” This collaboration not only underscores Gavin’s rising prominence but also pays homage to DMX’s enduring legacy in the music world.
