The original soundtrack album for the TV anime “Honey Lemon Soda”, composed by Akira Kosemura, is being released.
This anime TV series adaptation of a popular Japanese girls manga series by Murata Mayu has sold more than 14 million copies in total. It is a milestone of an adolescent love story about Uka Ishimori, whom entered a high school with a liberal atmosphere in order to change herself, then meets a popular boy in class with lemon-hair named Kai Miura, and the two become acquainted with one another and gradually grows up together.
This beautiful gem of a soundtrack plays the vibrant worldview of the story and the dazzling yet gentle distinctive scent and colours of Uka and Kai.
The musical works were produced based on Akira Kosemura\’s peculiar beauty touch on the piano, and the interweaving strings and other acoustic instruments, featuring Hollie Kenniff and Julia Kent from the United States. The mastering was completed by his ally Lawrence English. This remarkable soundtrack produced with international acclaimed artists, marks a completely difference from the ordinary anime soundtrack.
