‘A BLOODSUCKER ‘는 12곡이 수록된 지올팍의 첫 풀렝스 정규 앨범이다. 지올팍은 본 앨범에서 커리어 최초로 전곡이 ‘사랑’이라는 하나의 주제 아래 엮인 작품이다.

하지만 이 사랑은 결코 아름답지도, 안정적이지도 않다. 집착, 광기, 그리고 자멸의 끝에서 찾아오는 성장까지—지올팍은 사랑이라는 감정의 음지와 뒤틀린 집착을 고딕적 미장센과 빈티지 록 사운드로 기괴하게 그려낸다. 감정의 가장 밑바닥에서 흘러나온 듯한 가사와 날카로운 연출은 듣는 이로 하여금 불편하면서도 강렬한 몰입을 유도한다.

특히 지올팍이 직접 밝힌, “그리움 때문에 하수구에서 머리카락을 찾아 냄새를 맡은 적도 있다”는 일화처럼 감정의 병적 집착이 곧 음악적 진술로 승화된 점이 본작만의 선명한 특성이다. ‘A BLOODSUCKER’ 이처럼 로맨스이기도 하나 동시에 사랑이라는 이름 아래 숨겨진 광기와 집착, 슬픔의 카니발을 표현한 앨범이다.

A BLOODSUCKER is Zior Park’s first full-length studio album, comprising 12 tracks. For the first time in his career, every song on the record revolves around a single theme: love.

But this love is neither beautiful nor stable. From obsession and madness to self-destruction and eventual growth, Zior Park grotesquely illustrates the shadows of love and distorted attachment through gothic aesthetics and vintage rock sounds. His lyrics—seemingly dredged from the darkest depths of emotion—combined with razor-sharp direction, evoke an experience that is both unsettling and intensely immersive.

In particular, Zior Park revealed, “There was a time I missed someone so much, I picked hair out of the drain just to smell it.” This raw anecdote underscores the album’s defining characteristic: the transformation of pathological obsession into musical expression. A BLOODSUCKER is a romance, yes—but more than that, it is a carnival of madness, obsession, and sorrow lurking beneath the name of love.
